The town of Schönebeck (Elbe) offers investors two special funding priorities: 

1. Tourism-related investments 

Tourism-related investments in Bad Salzelmen and along the banks of the Elbe can be promoted by means of financial support under the Joint Task ?Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure?.

2. EU funding in the Schönebeck labour market region 

The Schönebeck labour market region is one of the IA-priority funding areas of the European Union and is therefore eligible for the maximum level of funding in Europe. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) the maximum funding level is 50%; non-SMEs receive a maximum of 35%.

Funding in Saxony-Anhalt 

In Saxony-Anhalt small and medium-sized enterprises have priority, with funding being targeted towards the following aspects:

• Improvement of capital resources to create and maintain permanent jobs
• Business start-ups
• Research, development and application of new technologies
• Nature conservation and environmental protection measures
